This week, we’re back with more insights and highlights from the crypto world and our platform. Bitcoin futures have already surpassed $100k, although the spot price hasn’t hit it yet.

Weekly Market Recap and Insights

On November 29, Bitcoin futures on the CME reached $100,200 for the second time in a week. Despite this, Bitcoin’s spot price has not yet hit $100k but only reached $98,600, the top of the Monday range, before the sell-off.

The rise in futures is attributed to increased open interest on CME surpassing 40,000 contracts and significant trading activity during the European and New York sessions, especially during the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday. Coinbase observed a strong spot bid, with a “Coinbase premium” of over $200 compared to Bitcoin’s spot price on Binance.

Bitcoin is now falling toward strong support at around $90k. The range between $100k and $90k could be the next range in which Bitcoin moves for a few weeks while altcoins will be pumping. Majors like ALGO, XRP, HBAR, and ENS have already pumped more than 50%. The percentages will be even bigger once the money starts flowing into smaller coins.
