Odds of US Solana ETF Reach 77%
The odds of a Solana ETF launching in the US by 2025 are rising. Matthew Sigel, VanEck’s head of digital assets research, believes Polymarket’s 77% projection is underpriced. Expectations grow after President-elect Donald Trump’s said he wants to make the USA “the world’s crypto capital”. Polymarket’s odds have since increased to 84%.
China Crackdowns on Crypto
China’s State Administration of Foreign Exchange introduced rules on December 31st that make it difficult for residents to buy crypto.
Banks must monitor and report risky forex trades, cross-border gambling, and illicit cross-border financial activity involving crypto. Banks must track transactions, sources of funds, and trading frequency.
Ether May Outperform Bitcoin
There is a high likelihood of ETH outperforming Bitcoin in Q1 and Q2 of 2025, based on the historical performance of ETH. We provided you with the graphs of historical performance, but to get as accurate information as possible, we have to compare the performance of ETH in 2017 and 2021 to the performance of BTC during the same years because these are the years in the bull market and when the altcoin season started. Once this happens, it will be the start of the altseason, and your friends will start asking you how they can turn a few hundred dollars into millions.
